This is a statement of the role of Mary in the bringing forth of the Word of God: Mary was the Virgin Mother of the embodiment of the ‘Word’ of God. The embodiment of the Spirit of God that is Christ. She conceived and gave birth to the ‘Word’ that was God. Jesus Christ
